Oak Casks

Oak casks have been used to store wine for centuries. The flavor and flavor-enhancing advertisement from oak passes to the wine fermented or matured in oak barrels. Thanks to the permeability of wood, it helps the wine gain flavor and balance by passing into the barrel in an oxygen controlled manner. The content of high quality wines is used because it is a cabinet of oak barrels. However, the type, age and origin of oak are also very important for good results and must be chosen carefully, as “letting the wood kill the wine” would be a betrayal of the resulting wine.
